Adapt Your Dollars Was Created for You (and here’s why)

Please share with your friends!

Are you a busy woman trying to raise kids, run a household, work outside the home, make time for your partner/spouse, and find time for yourself all in one day?

Not to mention your money situation is a mess but you don’t have time to sit down and figure it all out?

  • Are your finances disorganized?
  • Are you living paycheck to paycheck?
  • Are you repeatedly blowing your budget, especially your food budget, because you don’t have time (or energy) to cook?
  • Are you feeling so stressed about money that it is starting to affect your sleep?
  • Are you dreaming about your future and want to set some money goals, but aren’t even sure what a realistic goal for your money is at this point?

I’m here to tell you I know how you feel. There was a point in my life where I felt exactly the same way as you do. I was a new college graduate with a ton of debt (student loans and credit card debt), bought a new car I couldn’t really afford, got married to my best friend (who also had debt), and proceeded to buy a house and go way further into debt.

When all those bills started rolling in, I started to realize that I knew absolutely nothing about how to manage my money.

So I started reading and learning about personal finance. I became obsessed with learning anything and everything about how to manage my money better. I even went back to school to earn an MBA while I worked full time because I wanted to learn everything I possibly could about managing money.

Then things gradually started getting better. We started paying off our debt by living more frugally and watching what we were spending. I got all of our financial “stuff” organized and we set financial goals to work towards. I was definitely feeling less stressed about our financial situation.

That time in my life is definitely not my favorite of times to talk about. But I’m sharing it with you because I want you to understand that having your finances in disarray does not have to be a part of your life.

There is hope. There is a breath of fresh air waiting for you because you do not have to drown in your debt. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

I want to help you find that light and take that breath of fresh air. It’s there, you just have to find it. You have to find ways to adapt or change how you are managing your money that will work for you in your specific situation.

And that is why I created this blog.

I want to help you learn ways to save money every month by budgeting and living more frugally. I want to help you learn how to meal plan so that you can cut that food budget way back, while not having to stand in front of a stove all night when you get home from work. I want to help you realize and create your financial goals, stop living paycheck to paycheck, and be happier and less stressed about your finances.

I want to help you modify the way you are using your money and master how to manage your money, so you can maximize the quality of your life.

I want you to spend your time the way you want to spend it and not have to spend your time needlessly worrying about your money.

It is my goal with this blog to provide you with inspiration and tools to help you get your finances under control, so you can focus on the most important things in your life.

If this sounds like it would help you, I would love for you to be a part of this community!
